Well quite a surprise yesterday.
We have a few rabbits doubled up in our cages aand we thought we had done a good job of sexing them but somehow one of the does got put in with a buck and has somehow managed to have a litter and keep the buck from killing them.
We haven't been keeping a close eye on the nest boxes because we thought we weren't co-ed. Chris noticed some fur and movement in one of the boxes and found 5 bunnies that are pretty far along furred up and big as my hand.
None of the goats has freshened yet but Bev is getting a nice looking udder. We have all 3 does in a common pen and Misty is playing queen of the house. She is quite bossy, may have to trim her horns to see if she mellows a bit.
Here's a tip, always consult with your signifigant other when planting in a starting tray even if there are markers. Seems I didn't realize which way Tammy had planted from the markers and double seeded quite a few pots.
Still a lot of snow on the ground but it's getting less everyday.
